Treatments
How long does a treatment take?
Keratin Lash Lift: 45 minutes to 1 hour
Keratin Lash + Brow Lift: 1 hour
Brow Lift: 45 minutes, or 1 hour with tint
Brow Shape: 30 minutes
Does a lash lift hurt?
No. A lash lift is a new sensation around the eyes, but it is not painful.
What do I do during a lash lift?
Sleep, meditate, or listen to a podcast. Many clients drift off.
Can I get a lash lift without a tint?
No. A lift looks its best with a tint, and we only offer our treatments at their best.
How often should I come back?
Keratin Lash Lift: every 6 to 7 weeks
Brow Lift: every 4 to 6 weeks
Brow Shape: every 4 to 5 weeks, depending on your brow growth
Do you patch test?
Yes, on request. If you have sensitive eyes or a history of reactions, let us know when you book and we will arrange a patch test before your visit.
Can I get a lift while pregnant?
Yes. We do like you to know that pregnancy hormones can sometimes keep a lift from taking as it usually would. Let us know when you book.
Aftercare
Can I shower, wash my face, or wash my hair after a lift?
Yes. For the first 24 hours, keep moisture away from your lashes and brows. No workouts and no heavy steam. You can shower and wash your face, simply wipe around the treated areas. After 24 hours, tap a small amount of coconut or castor oil onto your lashes each night to keep them hydrated. See our full Before & After Care guide.
Can I use a lash curler?
No, not now, not ever. Curlers weaken the lash, cause breakage, and slowly take away your lashes' ability to grow back stronger.
Can I wear mascara after my lift?
Yes. With a lift, your mascara does not have to work as hard. Our Lash Gloss is all most lifted lashes need. Never waterproof mascara, though. To hold on, it dehydrates the lash, and dehydrated lashes break off and thin over time.
What about lash primers?
We skip them. Like waterproof mascara, most primers dehydrate the lash so the mascara will stick. Our Lash Gloss does the job instead: a clear, hydrating formula with hydrolysed collagen and keratin that coats and protects. Wear it on its own, or under your mascara.

Do I need an appointment?
Yes. The studio is appointment only, so every visit is held just for you. Book online, or text us at (917) 909-4094.

161 Water Street, inside the Water Lounge at the WSA building, high above the Financial District.
How should I prepare?
Arrive with clean lashes and brows and no makeup. Remove any mascara, lash serum, brow gel, or pomade, and skip the lash curler that day. Getting a brow tint? Do not exfoliate the brow area for 24 hours before. We cleanse before every treatment, but makeup can leave residue behind, and makeup, not our products, is usually what irritates the eyes. Why should I skip coffee before my appointment?
Please skip coffee before your appointment. Caffeine affects your nerves, and when your body is nervous or stressed, lashes do not always fully lift. This is mostly about coffee. Light caffeine, like matcha, is fine.
What is your cancellation policy?
We keep a 24 hour cancellation and reschedule policy. Appointments canceled, moved, or missed with less than 24 hours notice count as used. To make a change, text us at (917) 909-4094.
What if I am running late?
Text us as soon as you can. Arriving 15 minutes late or more counts as a missed appointment.
What is the Imani Imani Guarantee?
If you are unsatisfied within a week, we bring you back in and fix it, no questions asked.
Do you offer memberships?
Yes. Your membership bills each cycle as a prepayment for your upcoming appointment, at a better rate every visit. See the Memberships page for details.
Products and shipping
Where do you ship?
We ship within the United States. Standard shipping is $5 and arrives in two to five days.
Can I return a product?
Yes. Unopened products can be returned within 14 days. Email hello@imaniimani.studio or text us at (917) 909-4094 to start a return.
Do members get a discount on products?
Yes. Members take 10 percent off everything on our shelf.
